Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the RVCalc mobile application ("the App", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the application.

2. Educational & Estimator Disclaimer

                IMPORTANT NOTICE: RVCalc is a financial estimation tool designed for informational, planning, and educational purposes only. It does not provide certified financial, legal, insurance, or investment advice.
            

All calculations—including 10-year depreciation estimates, loan amortization schedules, fuel costs, insurance projections, and campground rates—are derived from published industry benchmarks (RVIA, U.S. EIA, and J.D. Power NADA). Actual costs will vary significantly depending on vehicle condition, credit score, regional sales taxes, fuel price fluctuations, and individual usage patterns.

3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

RVCalc provides optional premium features ("RVCalc Pro Access") through auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time purchases:

Payment: Payment will be charged directly to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan (Monthly or Yearly).
Free Trial: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Management & Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time by going to your App Store Account Settings on iOS.
Refunds: All payments and refund requests are governed directly by Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. RVCalc cannot directly issue refunds.

4. Intellectual Property

The RVCalc application, including its underlying computational models, user interface, brand assets, graphics, and code, is the intellectual property of RVCalc and its creators. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

5. User Data & Device Storage

RVCalc operates with a privacy-first architecture. Any custom parameters, budget entries, or custom presets you enter into the App remain stored solely on your local device. We do not store, access, or claim ownership of your locally inputted calculation parameters.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall RVCalc or its creators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, unexpected vehicle expenses, travel delays, or miscalculated financial decisions arising out of your use or inability to use the App.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any revisions will take effect immediately upon updating this webpage. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
