Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 • Last Updated: March 2026

OUR PLEDGE: RVCalc is designed from the ground up to respect your privacy. We do not track you, we do not require account registration, and we do not collect or sell your personal data.

1. Apple App Privacy: Data Not Collected

Under Apple’s App Privacy guidelines on the iOS App Store, RVCalc proudly falls into the "Data Not Collected" category:

No Accounts

No usernames, emails, passwords, or phone numbers required.

No Tracking

Zero cross-app tracking, zero advertising identifiers (IDFA).

No Location Tracking

We do not access your GPS coordinates or live location.

100% On-Device

All formulas, presets, and inputs run locally on your iPhone.

2. Local Data Storage on Your Device

Any calculation inputs, custom parameters (e.g., loan interest rate, fuel cost, campground selection), and user preferences you configure in RVCalc are saved solely to your device’s local sandbox storage using standard iOS system APIs (UserDefaults / SwiftData). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any external server.

3. In-App Purchases & Apple ID Security

If you choose to purchase an optional RVCalc Pro subscription or Lifetime pass:

Transactions are processed exclusively through Apple’s secure StoreKit framework.
Your payment details (such as credit card numbers or billing addresses) are handled directly by Apple and are never visible to or accessible by RVCalc.
Apple provides us with an anonymous cryptographic receipt to verify your purchase status and unlock Pro features.

4. Third-Party Analytics & Advertising

RVCalc contains no third-party advertising frameworks (such as Google AdMob) and no behavioral tracking analytics (such as Facebook SDK or AppsFlyer). We do not monetize your data or sell information to third-party data brokers.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

RVCalc has an age rating of 4+ and is suitable for all audiences. Because we do not collect any personal information whatsoever, we comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child privacy regulations.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or product improvements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
